My 40-50W co2 laser cuts 1/4" plywood and acrylic well at 50% but above 50%, the cuts get shallower as I increase the power. The current stays approximately proportional to the power setting, but the beam seems to get weeker. Is this normal or a sign of a partucular failure? The tube has less than 100 cutting hours, mostly at about 45%. I almost nev...
2023-02-271.2K10Yes. It can be done, and it’s RELATIVELY straightforward as far as reprocessing goes, but it’s rarely worth the effort and expense involved; in many cases it’s both easier and less expensive to just pop in a new tube. For the most part, tubes on CO2 lasers are regarded as a consumable.
2023-02-2398810Laser cutting machines are generally divided into metal laser cutting machines and non-metal laser cutting machines. Non metal laser cutting machines mostly use CO2 lasers as generators, while metal laser cutting machines use fiber lasers as generators. Both types of cutting machines play an important role in industrial production, greatly improvin...
