How to set up engraving for upgrading a 10 watt laser to 40 watts

I am upgrading the 10 watt laser to 40 watts. Both are diode lasers. I carved on maple and hardwood with a 10 watt laser at a speed of 1500 millimeters per minute and a power of 30%, and the effect was very good.
When I receive a 40 watt machine, should I maintain the same processing speed per minute and only reduce the power by 1/4? That is to say, maintain at 1500 millimeters per minute and reduce the power to around 8%.
