When I turn on my Atomstack X30 the jog controls in Lightburn do not work, when I hit home, it noisily move to the left of the x axis and keeps pounding away on the edge of the y axis without stopping

It is trying to reach the limit switches. If they are not installed, this will happen every time you hit home. If you don’t have limit/home switches installed, always manually move the head to the home position (0,0) before you power on the machine and start lightburn. When you start lightburn, it assumes the laser head is in the home position.
