How to set the rotation of Lasergrbl?

2C3A94E9

I initially used LaserGRBL, but I am not familiar with many operations. After opening the software, I searched for the rotation function on the interface, but the operation steps were not very intuitive. I am not sure how to configure the angle, select the rotation center, and adjust the speed. Can anyone guide me? Thank you so much!

  • 1.You replace the Y axis with the rotary and depending on the gearing and motors used on the rotary accessory ( usually in the documentation that comes with it ) you may have to adjust the $101 value for the motor resolution in the firmware, its usually from 80.0 to 100.0 or vice versa.

2.Unlike LightBurn that has a built-in calculator that adjusts steps per mm for rotary adapters (and does it somewhat transparently), in LaserGRBL you need to do the calculations yourself. Design a simple square that will cover the area you want to engrave, do a test engraving, and then calculate the new steps per mm for the axis that you are using (usually Y, but can be different depending on what you are engraving on.
