Bright Laser Technologies (BLT), a global leader in additive manufacturing headquartered in China, has launched a new BLT-S800 metal 3D printer with a super large construction volume (800 mm x 800 mm x 600 mm) and a 20 fiber laser configuration, which can shorten part delivery time and achieve rapid customer manufacturing.

The BLT-S800 system supports titanium alloy, aluminum alloy, high-temperature alloy, stainless steel, high-strength steel, and tool steel. Its common applications span various industries, including aviation, aerospace, engines, medical, automotive, electronics, molds, and research institutions.

By investing in large format and multi laser printing for ten years, the BLT-S800 has performed exceptionally well in terms of system stability. We have deployed dozens of BLT-S800,20 laser printers in our customers' factories, and their reliability and availability have been tested in the market, "said Elizabeth Duan, head of BLT's international business unit.

Increase productivity through 20 synchronous lasers
Within the same floor area, increasing the number of light paths can directly improve production capacity and factory efficiency without the need for additional equipment, factory space, or more operators.
In the field of wind farm optimization, innovative solutions have been implemented to support the synchronous operation of 20 laser beams. These innovations can effectively disperse any black smoke and splashes generated during the multi laser printing process, ensuring part quality. At the same time, they ensure that the optical lens remains clean and ensure an uninterrupted printing process.

Enhanced mass production
Efficient powder recovery plays a crucial role in batch production workflows. The BLT-S800 introduces an innovative powder circulation system aimed at safely transferring, recovering, screening, and recovering metal powders in on-site testing laboratories. This system simplifies and protects the movement of a large amount of 3D printing powder from containers to multiple machines, effectively eliminating risks related to spills, pollution, explosions, or contact with personnel. This system enables manufacturers to meet their mass production needs while saving significant costs in operational work.

The BLT-S800 is equipped with BLT-BP, which can simplify the profiling processing of large parts. This reduces the time spent on profiling and preparation, and improves the efficiency of the printing process. Even for detailed information with a large amount of 25G data, the required analysis time is 30 minutes.

In addition, the BLT-BP on the BLT-S800 has a dynamic powder placement strategy that can adjust the powder melting speed based on the part contour, thereby achieving multi-level automatic speed adjustment. This method ensures quality and efficiency. Compared with traditional methods, the single-layer efficiency of typical components is significantly improved by 30%.
