Your best bet will be to un-protect the document by exporting/printing to PDF, then import back into LightBurn.

Import PDF File
I am trying to import a .pdf file into Lightburn that I want to trace. I am unable to because the file has a password protection on it. I can import into Inkscape and am not prompted to enter the password but Lightburn does not import the the file at all.
Does anyone know how I can import this file into Lightburn as I would rather work on the file in Lightburn as opposed to Inkscape
