What is the reason for the continuous downward movement of the RDC6332M cutting head during automatic focusing?

D143C1FE

The RDC6332M control system, when I turn on the automatic focus or follow function, the cutting head will continue to move downwards without any tendency to stop or rebound. Even if the height of the workpiece is normal, the system still judges that the height is insufficient, causing the cutting head to continuously press down. Multiple resets and recalibrations have no significant improvement. Can anyone help me solve this problem? Thanks in advance!

    1. Contact the cutting head with a metal object and observe whether the collision indicator light on the amplifier and the indicator light connected to the height adjustment box are lit. If so, rule out any sensing issues. If the indicator light is not on, the sensor is faulty.
    2. Check the wiring and board grounding issues.

  • This type of problem is most likely caused by a damaged or not triggered autofocus sensor
