Processing with RDWorksV8, XY axis cannot be limited

6186B983

I encountered a problem when using RDWorksV8 for laser cutting processing: the XY axis cannot be properly limited. Every time the device is started, the XY axis does not automatically reach the limit position as expected, resulting in the machine being unable to correctly identify the working area. After attempting to restart the software and device, the problem still persists. Who can help me solve this problem? Thank you in advance.

    Generally, there are several reasons:
    1. Reset and move in the opposite direction, the 'reverse polarity' setting is incorrect
    2. The incorrect setting of 'limit polarity' resulted in the inability to detect the limit during system reset, leading to shaft collision.
    3. The format is too large
    4. The difference in step distance is significant

  • The XY axis usually has one origin limit switch each. Inspection steps: Open the controller panel, enter the diagnostic interface/IO status, manually press the X or Y limit switch. If normal, you should see a change in IN signal status from 0 to 1 or 1 to 0. If there is no change, it means that the limit switch is broken, or the wiring is disconnected, or it may be a wrong port connection.
