Laser-cut circular pieces do not fit together at the joints

01CEB9B5

I am cutting circular pieces with a laser cutting machine, and the joints do not fit together properly — in other words, they are not perfectly round. How should I adjust the settings?

  • The optical path is fine, because cutting squares works normally, and engraving also works normally. The only issue is that when cutting circles, the start point and end point do not align — there is a gap of about 0.5 mm. How do I recalibrate the zero point and reference point of the cutting machine?

    • 1. The jump speed and acceleration are set too high—reduce both parameters appropriately. 2. Excessive machining speed causes backlash issues—lower the machining speed and calibrate the backlash accordingly.
