CO2 laser power suddenly drops

BAF58914

My CO₂ laser power suddenly dropped. I checked the optical path and water temperature, and there does not seem to be any problem. There is a current indicator on the side of the machine. When I test at maximum power in pulsed mode, the indicator shows 20, but when I set the power to 65% on the computer, the current only shows 04. It feels like there might be a software issue limiting the power. Any ideas?

    1. Check the "Max Power" or "Max Current" limit parameters in the controller.
    2. Check whether the trimmer potentiometer on the laser power supply is loose or has been misadjusted.
3.Use a multimeter to measure the analog voltage signal from the controller to the power supply input to verify if it is normal (65% power should correspond to approximately 3.25V, assuming a 0–5V signal range).

  • Is the working current too high? When the working current of CO2 laser tube exceeds 10% of the allowable current, it will lead to an exacerbation of power reduction. Unstable current can also affect the power output of the laser tube. ‌
