CinIonic announced the launch of a new cinema screen specifically designed for laser auditoriums. CinIonic Laser Screen 2.4 amplifies the power of laser projection by optimizing efficiency and enhancing screen presentation. This new screen is aimed at becoming the ideal companion for CinIonic Laser and is the first screen product in the CinIonic All Laser Solution portfolio.

The CinIonic laser screen 2.4 is made of silver material with a white appearance, so when combined with laser projection, it performs well in 2D and 3D movie demonstrations. The dedicated screen has a gain of 2.4, which helps to achieve uniform light distribution, resulting in clear and unified images, providing a consistent viewing experience.

The use of CinIonic Laser Screen 2.4 in conjunction with CinIonic Laser is part of an integrated laser solution that optimizes efficiency due to the lower energy consumption required to achieve the same or better image quality as large projectors. This can allow for smaller projector specifications and lower power settings, while extending the lifespan of the combined technology stack.

CinIonic Laser Screen 2.4 is now available in the United States and Mexico, and plans to be launched globally in the coming months. AMC Cinema will become the first cinema to receive new screens, with plans to install nearly two dozen this year.

Since the launch of Dramatic Laser Projection, CinIonic has deployed over 35000 laser solutions. CinIonic and Barco work together to continuously launch new innovations focused on a sustainable future.

Laser is the standard for theater projection today, "said Wim Buyens, CEO of CinIonic. CinIonic is committed to the film industry and is passionate about ensuring the highest quality presentation from booth to screen. The Barco 4 series is our leading laser projector series. Now, with the help of CinIonic laser screen 2.4, we enable exhibitors to earn more from lasers. When the best projectors are matched with the right screens, the results can be amazing.
