I think you may have the ‘text type’ set to something other than ‘normal’ probably ‘serial number’

Wrong character is burning on project
Hey guys! I’ve been burning some logos and everything has been awesome! Now I’m trying to create a logo for some firefighters, but when I burn, the H in firefighters comes out as “1” so it burns like “FIREFIG1TERS” . Ive tried another fint ans same. Any help please!
