Connect the laser to a USB hub

Good morning
I have connected 2 lasers to a USB hub, but now they do not respond.
is this possible or is the new hub broken
would love to hear from you

I have had occasional problem with the driver not loading in windows, a simple restart of windows usually fixes that and checking device manager-ports to confirm.
