RDC6612U controller point shooting sub cutting head does not emit light

7EC2C0A4

The dual beam multi head laser equipment I am using is equipped with the Ruida control system RDC6612U. During the debugging process, I found that the main head and the auxiliary head can move and position each other normally. However, during the spot shooting test, only the main head can emit light normally, and the auxiliary head has no laser output at all. Can anyone help me solve this problem? esteem it  a favor!

  • Checking the connection and activation of the laser port is the most basic and easily overlooked step. Firstly, confirm whether the laser control cable of the secondary head is correctly connected to the designated interface on the controller, and whether the plug is loose or misplaced. Then, enter the controller parameter settings and confirm that the laser port corresponding to the secondary head has been set to the enabled state. If this port is disabled, even if the motion control is normal, it will not emit a laser trigger signal.

  • Check if the laser head switching function is correctly set in the settings of RDWorksV8 or control system. Usually, the controller needs to switch the laser head through specific instructions. Ensure that the program clearly specifies the use of auxiliary heads for work. The use of secondary heads may require explicit switching in the program.
