Sept 24LightBurn does not support Bluetooth natively, though most operating systems create/emulate a serial port for the Bluetooth connection. So for LB, there is no difference, the OS handles the data transfer. Bluetooth and WiFi are unreliable connection methods. Avoid using a laser via wireless communication. As you noticed, it can break down at any time in worst case leaving the laser turned on and start a fire. So, if there is no urgent need to use wireless, don’t use it. As your connection already was successful, there is nothing to do on the OS side, I guess (apart from energy saving settings maybe), but you need to make sure the environment is “free”. No strong wireless communications on the same frequencies, no electrical devices that could cause interference. Maintain a free line of sight between both devices.
