I bought a Camera for my Omtech 60W 20 X 28" Laser. All the tutorials I see say to attach the camera at the 40 degree angle on the lid. I did so and can’t get a good picture and when I do the alignment the fixed position shows it direcctly above it, and that seems to be the only option. when I do the Dot calibration, it won’t even recognize the dots.

Sounds like you’re trying to use the camera with the door closed. I suspect the guidance on the 40 degree angle was meant to allow for straight down view for the camera with the door open.
