Adding a camera to my OMTech 60W CO2 Laser
Hello all, I am looking to add a camera to my new OMTech and was wondering how I figure out what camera I need to get and where to mount it.
I followed the steps in the software documentation and got a list of cameras that would work, but I’m unsure where I am supposed to measure from. According to a video I watched about the installation on a similar OMTech, there is not enough room to have it centered, so I need to put it at the front edge.
Do I measure the distance when the lid is open?
Is that the only time the camera will be accurate?
Will I not be able to put a piece in the cutter, close the lid, then set up the cutting process?
