My RDC6563FG control system displays a reset error

Tory

Help! My device was functioning normally before, but today when I tried to process a workpiece, the system displayed a reset error. The control system is RDC6563FG. I don't know if there are any settings that are incorrect or if there is a hardware issue.

If an error occurs during Z-axis reset, a system reset error will be displayed, which may be caused by the following situations:
    1. When performing the reset motion, the motor did not move or moved too slowly, resulting in timeout exit.
    2. It may be due to the incorrect polarity of the motor movement, which triggered the lower limit switch during reset and caused the reset to exit.

  • This method may be easily overlooked. You can check if the drive has recorded more detailed fault codes or historical records. "Reset error" may be a general term, and there may be specific underlying faults such as overcurrent, overvoltage, encoder abnormalities, etc.

  • You can try to perform a reset operation on each axis individually. Usually, the problematic axis will either remain completely motionless, emit abnormal noises, or immediately trigger an alarm.
