Fiber laser cutting controller failed to connect via USB
When using fiber laser cutting control systems (RDC6563FG, RDC6563FG-LITE, RDV6563FG-NET), USB connection failure is generally due to the following reasons:
1. Check whether the USB driver is correctly installed
An uninstalled or improperly installed USB driver is a common cause of connection failure. Open the Device Manager on the computer and check whether the controller’s USB device is properly recognized. If an unknown device or a warning icon is displayed, the driver is abnormal and should be reinstalled or updated with the correct version. After installation, it is recommended to unplug and reconnect the USB cable and restart the software for testing.
2. Verify the USB connection between the mainboard and the computer
Confirm that the USB cable is properly connected between the controller mainboard and the computer, and that the connectors are firmly seated with no looseness. Also check whether the USB cable itself is damaged, aged, or has poor contact. If necessary, replace the USB cable or try a different USB port on the computer to rule out hardware-related issues.
3. Confirm that the communication mode is set to USB
In the control software, make sure the communication mode is correctly set to USB. If the system is physically connected via USB but the software is still set to network or another communication mode, a connection cannot be established. Enter the communication settings menu, select USB as the connection method, save the settings, and then attempt to reconnect.
