How to save and load projects correctly?

That’s Import - It will Import vectors from another file into your current project, but will not bring in the settings. Use Import if you want to pull shapes or images from another file into your current one, but use Open to load a project file with all the settings intact.

Are you clicking Open or Import? Open is the second icon from left, Import is the far right icon. Open should load your settings, Improt will only load the graphics wihout any settings.
