Engraving through masking tape

I commonly use masking take for the rotary to assure it’s going to do what I want it to do…
Regular masking tape doesn’t seem to work well on my fiber, but black masking tape works pretty well.
I don’t go through the tape, which is a bit different that you wish to do…

  : I always use the project notes to keep track of things… Maybe you can combine or use the anodized engrave setting to get through the tape…?
