My files are PLT format. When I open a file and download it to the machine, the file name is not automatically taken from the first 8 characters of the original file name. How do I configure this?

Normally, once a file is imported, the software parses its content, and any re-downloaded file will require a manual rename. Our custom software is tailored to specific client needs, so this feature has not been optimized yet. Please feel free to check out other functions in the software. Any updates will be posted on RD official website.
