Recently, the Italian laser pipe processing group BLM Group announced the launch of an LT-Free five axis laser cutting system that can be used for laser cutting and processing of any three-dimensional metal profile, including bending forming, hydraulic forming, extrusion forming, deep drawing forming, flat or stamped forming of pipe fittings or plates.

This five axis laser cutting system can provide up to 4kW of fiber laser power, which is suitable for processing low-carbon steel/copper/aluminum/brass/stainless steel/galvanized steel.

The company stated that it can complete finished product processing within a single work cycle, eliminating the handling and storage of semi-finished products, and improving productivity, ultimately reducing raw material handling costs, simplifying the entire production process, and saving inventory space.

In addition, it can also achieve trimming and parameter design cutting on curves. By laser cutting, the processed parts will not deform, and the 5-axis LT-FREE ensures machining accuracy and repeatability.

Users can choose the material type and thickness through the controller, and the machine automatically sets cutting parameters and the optimal focus position. A series of operations such as cutting, drilling, punching, milling, and deburring can be completed sequentially on a single machine. You can import 3D models of parts in the office, program machining cycles and robots, and then use ArtCut to simulate the cutting process to obtain machining time. All work is done offline and can be directly put into production. On the device, users can make modifications through the touch screen with an extremely simple and clear graphical interface, set up micro connections, and activate Active Tools active tools.
