Correction method for CO2 laser cutting controller to cut square into parallelogram
When using a CO2 laser cutting controller for processing, if the cut square deforms into a parallelogram, the following methods can be used to correct it:
1. Check and adjust the perpendicularity of the X and Y rails
First, confirm whether the X and Y rails of the cutting machine are strictly perpendicular. Misaligned rails can directly cause the shape to skew during cutting, turning a square into a parallelogram. Use a square ruler or laser measuring tool to precisely calibrate the X and Y rails, ensuring the motion paths are perpendicular and maintaining machining accuracy.
2. Reset the X and Y axis travel and step distance
Next, check whether the step distance settings and travel range of the X and Y axes are correct. Incorrect step distance or travel parameters can create proportional errors in the laser head movement, also causing the square to deform. Recalibrate the step distance and travel range according to the equipment manual to ensure software control matches the actual mechanical motion, restoring the accuracy of the cut shapes.
