Recently, Novanta, a pioneer in advanced laser and optical subsystems for medical and industrial applications, announced that the company will relocate from its original official address (Emery Court in Stockport, UK) to a state-of-the-art 70000 square foot factory facility in nearby Orion Business Park. Its business capabilities will also be expanded fourfold to serve an expanding team and customers.

Novanta was originally founded in 2002, starting with Laser Quantum Ltd in Emery Court. It was later acquired by Novanta Corporation in 2017 and mainly produces lasers and subsystems for medical and industrial applications.

Regarding this relocation, CEO Matthijs Glastra stated, "This transformation move marks an important new chapter in our development journey, symbolizing the unity of our UK team and our commitment to continuous growth and innovation within Novanta.

Our investment in this advanced laser subsystem factory facility strengthens our position as a trusted technology partner for global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). It also demonstrates our commitment to providing the best working environment for our team to innovate and excel. We are excited about the opportunities brought by this relocation and look forward to continuing to provide outstanding value to our clients in the new office building.

The main highlights of the new office facilities include:
World class laser subsystem assembly: Two thirds of the facilities are located in clean room environments, setting benchmarks for quality, lean manufacturing, standard workflows, and procedures to ensure excellence in every aspect of optoelectronic module assembly.

The most advanced flexible working environment: The spacious working environment features collaborative spaces that stimulate innovation and creativity. The on-site restaurant, gym, garden, and reflective space create a flexible working environment that meets diverse needs while promoting productivity.
