I will use an Arduino to start the laser, a robot will put in a product and then the laser will start and write a serial number, then the robot will take out the product and put in a new product to start again then with a new serial number. anyone have ideas for external input for start and stop using Lightburn software.

      Some potential ideas:
Connect the controller to the computer through USB and have the controller mimic a keyboard to send shortcuts to LightBurn to execute
Introduce another robot that actuates a physical keyboard to run LightBurn
Take LightBurn out of the equation and setup a Pi or something else to control the laser directly either with dynamically generated gcode or pre-generated gcode.
