PulseX Laser, a rising star in the field of ultrafast lasers, has recently completed a financing of over 10 million yuan, with this round of financing exclusively invested by Changlei Capital.

As a representative of the forefront of technology today, ultrafast lasers play an important role in many industries. In the field of material processing, ultrafast lasers, with their ultra short pulse width and extremely high peak power, can achieve high-quality cutting, drilling, and etching of various brittle materials without generating thermal effects, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of processed parts. They have an irreplaceable position in industries such as electronic device manufacturing and semiconductor processing.

PulseX Laser was founded at the end of 2020. Its founder, Dr. Liu Guanyu, graduated from the Department of Electronic Science and Technology at Peking University. He is an innovative leader in ultrafast laser technology and has pioneered the NALM one cavity mode locking technology, promoting independent innovation and industrialization of industrial grade ultrafast lasers. At present, the company has developed a full range of pulse laser products, including femtosecond lasers, picosecond lasers, and nanosecond lasers. Downstream application scenarios cover multiple fields such as high-precision femtosecond timing communication, new energy, medical, and food packaging processing, and have been recognized and applied by leading customers in the industry.

Pan Jinzhao, a partner of Changlei Capital, stated that with the continuous improvement of ultrafast laser performance and the rapid decrease in cost, the application of ultrafast lasers in the field of fine processing is flourishing. However, there is still a significant gap between domestic high-end ultrafast lasers and world giants in terms of power, spot quality, stability, and other aspects. The core R&D team of Pacos has rich experience in ultrafast laser research and production management. The team's understanding of ultrafast lasers and continuous innovation ability have left a deep impression on us. The continuous innovation of the company's laser products not only meets the needs of new application scenarios, but also replaces many traditional processing techniques. We hope that PulseX Laser can achieve more breakthroughs.
