The RDD6584G/RDD6616U control system has encountered an issue with the collision avoidance switch being invalid. The following steps can be taken to troubleshoot and handle the problem:

1. Confirm whether the protection function is enabled
Enter the “Manufacturer Parameters” menu on the control panel, then go to “IO Control Parameters” and check whether the “Machine Protection” function is enabled. If this function is not activated, the system will not trigger protective shutdown even if the anti-collision switch is activated. After modifying the parameter, make sure to save the settings and restart the controller for the changes to take effect.

2. Verify the wiring port
The anti-collision signal must be connected to pin 3 (Proc) of the CN4 connector on the mainboard. If it is connected to the wrong input port, the system will not recognize the protection signal.
