RDC6685U control system, collision when absolute coordinates are enabled

I have a low-power CO2 laser cutting machine that uses the RDC6685U control system. After enabling the absolute coordinate function, a collision occurred. The system had an error in calculating the coordinates, causing the laser head to move to the wrong position and collide with the material. What should I do?

    Make sure to enable XY power on reset and find the correct coordinate system for XY, otherwise it will cause a long distance of displacement and result in collision.

  • You should check the path program to ensure there are no incorrect paths or unreasonable sharp turns. In the running program, if the path planning is unreasonable, it may lead to collisions between the workpiece and other parts during movement.

  • Check whether the X and Y return to zero direction is correct, and whether the laser head is located at the maximum travel angle (upper right) or the minimum travel angle (lower left) after returning to zero.
