Recently, BLM GROUP USA, a leading manufacturer of laser tube and sheet metal processing equipment, announced that its North American headquarters in Novi, Michigan has officially started construction, with plans to add 65000 square feet of modern facilities. It is expected to be completed and put into use in the third quarter of 2025.
The specific investment amount for this expansion has not been disclosed, but its ambitious development blueprint has begun to emerge.

With the progress of the expansion project, BLM Group USA, a subsidiary of BLM Group in Italy, is expected to create 50-60 new job opportunities and further strengthen its 200 person team in the United States, with nearly half of the employees at its headquarters in Novi.
Since 2020, the company's personnel scale has continued to grow steadily at an average annual rate of about 20%, demonstrating its strong momentum in the industry. Mauro Corno, the President and Chief Operating Officer of the company, stated, "As machine sales continue to rise, we are placing greater emphasis on strengthening customer and technical training to meet the growing demands of the market.

One of the key factors driving this expansion is the emphasis on technical support and customer education. BLM GROUP is well aware that as the preferred machine supplier for metal manufacturers, machine sales are only the starting point for establishing long-term cooperative relationships.

With the continuous expansion of customer groups in the United States and Canada, the demand for equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and professional training has sharply increased. We are committed to providing comprehensive services beyond the product itself, ensuring that customers can maximize the use of our equipment, "emphasized the company's press release.

The expansion plan features a variety of highlights, including the construction of larger technical training laboratories, open office spaces, and an expanded bending machine technology operation area. This will build a more comprehensive solution center, not only adding machine demonstration and dedicated training areas, but also doubling the size of the software customer training room, providing customers with a more comprehensive and in-depth experience and service.

In addition, there is good news about BLM GROUP's international layout. The company announced the establishment of a new subsidiary in France, aiming to further strengthen its market influence and service capabilities in the region.

Starting from July 1, 2024, the original historical partner SAMS SAS will officially transform into BLM GROUP France SAS. With its rich technical assistance experience, the new base established in Sulz Upper Rhine will become a new benchmark for serving French customers. Lionel De Campos will lead a team of 10 elites to ensure continuity of service and immediate response to customers, laying a solid foundation for the expansion of the French market.

As a global leader in metal processing technology, BLM Group has successfully deployed over 17000 systems worldwide, widely used in various industries such as automotive, aerospace, agriculture, power sports, furniture, and healthcare. Its diversified product line, including laser pipes, pipe bending machines, pipe end forming machines, sawing machines, wire bending machines, sheet metal laser cutting, and combined pipe and sheet metal laser cutting systems, all demonstrate the company's outstanding strength in technological innovation and solution provision.

BLM GROUP's range of product lines
The establishment of BLM Group's French branch marks an important step forward in improving the quality of customer service, "said Lionel De Campos." We are committed to providing timely, efficient, and high-quality comprehensive support to our customers, and working together to promote the prosperous development of the metal processing industry.

BLM GROUP's current three major branches
BLM Group has accumulated over 60 years of rich experience in providing solutions for pipe processing and producing laser cutting systems for sheet metal. The group focuses on providing the most advanced manufacturing machines, including flat laser, pipe and 5-axis laser cutting machines, pipe bending machines, as well as pipe end forming, cutting, sawing and turning solutions. Recently, its software department has also developed a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) for the production management of sheet metal processing, pipe processing, cutting, and bending machines in BLM Group.

According to the official website, BLM Group has branches in the United States, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, Poland, Brazil, Mexico, and Benelux. It has 841 employees worldwide and achieved a revenue of 397 million euros in 2021, with a compound annual growth rate of 9% over the past five years.
