The RDC6563FG control system has triggered a machine protection alarm

Hello everyone! My fiber laser cutting machine uses the RDC6563FG control system. I was operating it normally when the machine protection alarm light came on the control panel, and the system stopped responding. What should I do?

After enabling the machine protection function in the manufacturer parameters, when the mainboard detects that the machine protection input (general-purpose input port I8) is at a high level or left floating, the mainboard will generate a machine protection alarm. If processing is in progress, it will pause the operation. The alarm fault must be cleared before processing can resume; otherwise, the system will not be able to continue processing.

  • Turn off the main power, wait for at least 30 seconds for all electrical components to discharge completely, and then turn on the power again. This can clear many temporary system false alarms or drive failure states.

  • Check if the limit switch of X/Y/Z axis is triggered, and if the moving parts are stuck or have excessive resistance. Check if all sensors are connected properly to ensure stable signal transmission.
