Hanbit Laser, a South Korean laser equipment manufacturer, has recently completed an important step in its strategic layout for the Southeast Asian market. Recently, the company officially opened a laser application center in Hanoi, Vietnam, and entered the local mid to low price equipment market by integrating laser technology and automation solutions. This is a substantial progress in implementing the memorandum of understanding signed with KNS in December 2024.

The location of the laser application center in Hanoi has strategic considerations. This region is not only the core production base of South Korean giants such as Samsung and LG in Vietnam, but also gathers Chinese enterprises such as Foxconn and OPPO and their supply chain partners, forming an electronic manufacturing industry cluster. In response to the market demand of emerging industrial countries in Southeast Asia, Hanbit Laser has completed the development of a dedicated product line, which has a dual advantage in price competitiveness and local manufacturing capabilities in Vietnam. Through deep integration with KNS's cutting-edge automation technology, both parties are committed to creating a comprehensive solution of "laser+automation" and strengthening technological collaboration in precision machining, intelligent manufacturing, and other fields.

The senior management of the company revealed to the media that this cooperation marks a key breakthrough in the localization strategy: KNS's operational experience accumulated in the Vietnamese market will help us quickly establish a stable business system. By localizing our production and service system, we can maintain our price advantage while simultaneously increasing market penetration and brand awareness.
