RDWorksV8, solution for movement direction opposite to button direction
When using RDWorksV8 for machining, if the direction of motion is found to be opposite to the direction of the buttons, it is usually caused by the following reasons. Adjustments and repairs can be made through the following methods:
Manufacturer settings—reverse button setting
In the RDWorksV8 control system, there is an "Reverse button setting" option. If this option is checked, the direction of the button operation will be reversed compared to the actual motion. For example, pressing the up button may cause the Z-axis to move down instead.
The solution is to enter the control system's parameter settings and find the "Motor" section. Uncheck the "Reverse button setting" option. This will ensure that the button operation direction matches the actual motion direction, solving the reverse motion issue.
Motor direction polarity setting
The motor's direction polarity setting determines the motion direction of the motor. If it is set incorrectly, it may cause the axis to move away from the origin during the reset, which is the opposite of the expected movement.
The solution is to check the motor's direction polarity setting to ensure that the motor's positive direction matches the actual motion direction. If the direction is reversed, adjust the motor's polarity setting to correct it, ensuring that the movement direction of each axis is consistent with the button operation.
After making these adjustments, the issue of reversed motion and button direction can typically be resolved, ensuring normal equipment operation.
