Im using a LM3 with a 10 w laser and having issues with X axis cutting deeper than the Y axis. This happens on wood, leather and cardboard. It also happens when using the Materials Test in Laser Tools.Any help would be appreciated !

I am attempting to make a universal test card. The measurements for the card, which was downloaded from LA Hobby Guy, are based on using a 5.5w laser. I am using a 10w laser. what should I adjust the measurements to? I am new to laser engraving, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I’m new to LB and have a question. I have an Ortur LM3 with the extension. When I start LB it shows my entire work area. I usually import images into LB and it drops them right in the middle of the work area. So I’m constantly dragging and zooming. Is there a way to change the drop point and zoom into location closer to 0,0? - Thanks

Macbook Pro OS Catalina. Downloaded latest license from Lightburn for my Ortur. Open workpage up and file, all set to go. Says ready and laser acts like no command sent. Won’t home, won’t frame, won’t move at all. I checked all cables, machine is definitely on and connected. Moves in little dance when turned on but thats it. Help?
