At the same time, in the field of 4K resolution high-end projection, the market share of laser projection has surpassed LED. In the laser projection market, the proportion of nut projection is as high as 49%.

According to AVC data, in the laser projection market, domestic brands have occupied the absolute mainstream, of which nuts occupy the top spot with nearly 40% of the online market.

According to the person in charge of nuts, at the end of 2022, Nuts launched two high-end flagship three-color laser projection products - N1 Pro and N1 Ultra, which successfully solved the two major user pain points of poor home projection picture quality and poor portability. In May 2023, Nuts released a three-color laser light source projection nut N1 priced down to 3000 yuan, the mainstream price segment of home projectors.

Just three months later, Nuts once again released a new home projection product at an all-time low price - Nuts N1 Air tri-color laser projector. One after another new product release and constantly falling prices are enough to explain Nuts' attitude towards three-color laser technology and its determination to promote the popularity of three-color laser in the home projection market. As a new generation of light sources, the development of three-color lasers in the laser TV industry has been recognized by the industry, but the home projection industry is still in the early stages of development. Entering 2023, there are not many home projection companies that layout three-color laser products, and there are many companies that have doubts about the idea that "three-color laser will become the best solution for home projection light source", after all, before this year, the market share of LED projection looks really difficult to shake.

However, in only half a year, the three-color laser projection has risen rapidly with an unstoppable attitude. With the continuous improvement of consumer market awareness, many companies that previously laid out LED and monochrome laser technology have begun to move towards the three-color laser field, and have carried out a new round of technological upgrades.

Nut is very optimistic about the application of three-color laser technology in the field of home projection, and announced its entry at the end of last year. The person in charge of nuts said that in the field of home projection where "picture quality is king", three-color lasers can bring a better viewing experience. "The monochrome laser only has a single blue, emitting blue light, while the green and red need to rely on phosphor excitation, resulting in red dull, green purple. In contrast, the three-color laser technology not only improves the color reproduction of the picture, but also enhances the brightness and contrast of the picture, which can achieve better picture quality output."

Take Nut's newly launched N1 Air as an example, this product uses Nut's self-developed MKR optical machine, which brings strong picture quality performance.

In terms of brightness, the N1 Air uses the latest domestic industry unified high standard brightness unit CVIA, reaching 700CVIA lumens.

In terms of color, thanks to the use of MKR optical machine, the N1 Air can achieve 110%BT.2020 wide color gamut, such color gamut performance has exceeded all civilian level display equipment; Contrast is the short board of the barrel effect of the projector's picture quality, and the addition of the Mekrypton three-color laser light machine increases the contrast of the picture by 3 times.

In terms of color accuracy, the product ΔE< 1, about equal to the level of professional-grade color monitor, in standard mode, users can see infinitely close to the original color of the original film, better feel the picture art of the film masters.

While talking about the many advantages of the three-color laser projector, the person in charge of the nut did not shy away from the problem of the temporary existence of this technology - speckle phenomenon. The three-color laser light source uses a three-color laser, which has strong coherence, and when projected onto the screen or wall, disorderly interference is generated on the screen, forming random countless bright and dark spots, thus causing speckle.

In view of the problem of speckle in three-color laser, nut has been actively researching solutions in recent years. According to the relevant person in charge of nuts, in the cinema, the current common solution to eliminate laser display speckle is vibration screen technology. "However, when home intelligent projection is used, Xiuhu does not necessarily cooperate with the screen, so it is not feasible to eliminate speckle through weak vibration of the screen."
