German Jenoptik receives over 17 million euros in automation business orders

Recently, Jenoptik, a leading German company in the field of optoelectronics, announced that the group successfully won multiple automation solution orders worth over 17 million euros in the second quarter of 2024.
It is revealed that these orders originated from a first tier OEM supplier (unnamed) and were delivered by Prodomax, an automation expert under the group.

As a member of the Yina Group (acquired by Yina in 2018), Prodomax will be responsible for producing automatic welding systems for steel structural components, including bumpers, body side components, and body components. These systems will be partially applied to emerging electric vehicle (EV) platforms in the North American market.

It is reported that the delivery plan for customers in the United States and Mexico will start in the second quarter of 2025 and is expected to be fully completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.

Despite the high cost of relocating some businesses to the new Dresden location, management firmly believes that profit margins will remain stable as revenue continues to grow.
