I have purchased a laser (NUOF 40W laser module laser head 450nm TTL blue laser module) and plan to install it on my CNC machine. I replaced the firmware of the CNC machine.
The CNC machine is working properly, but the laser cannot be turned on. There should be a fan inside the laser, but there should be no noise or other abnormalities.
There are three connecting wires between the circuit board and the laser, with a continuous voltage of 12 V between black and red and 1 to 4.5 V between black and yellow
(PWM signal). The firmware version is GRBL (SimpleLaser1.1 V2.30-H35_2022_1223_SN_ZX_001), and the software version is
For LaserGRBL v7.12. Are there any other checks and/or settings that need to be activated before reporting the malfunction and applying for a return?

In my impression, your module needs to be powered by 24V, please check

According to the seller's instructions, the voltage between the black and red lines (12V) and the variable voltage between 0 and 5V (PWM) were checked.
I use LaserGRBL software to control CNC; It completed all the work, but the laser did not turn on. I measured the voltage on the module and it was 12V.
The only purpose of this module is to burn paint onto the PCB and then perform chemical etching. I use a hot air gun and acid solution to make less than 10 PCBs every year, so I don't need a professional laser.
