According to industry forecasts, the medical laser market in India, especially in the field of medical aesthetics, is expected to be worth up to 71572 million rupees in fiscal year 2023. It is expected that this number will increase to 1.8358 billion rupees by fiscal year 2031, with a compound annual growth rate of 12.49%.

Alma Medical, a global innovator in the field of medical lasers in Israel, has successfully expanded its Indian subsidiary to second tier cities and plans to introduce over-the-counter laser technology.

As a representative of Israeli manufacturers in India, Alma Medical Private has established a presence in the beauty, surgery, and hydrotherapy markets with its innovation in medical, optical, radio frequency, and ultrasonic laser solutions. At present, the company is actively expanding its territory in Asia, especially in India, China, South Korea, Japan, and regions outside of Australia.

Alma's laser platform has entered the Indian market since 2007 and has become a strong mainstream brand in the local market due to its excellent quality. For over 20 years, the company has brought positive changes to the lives of millions of people worldwide through clinically validated applications.

"Alma's research and development always adheres to the pursuit of aesthetics. We invest in innovative technologies and are committed to providing treatment solutions for various skin types, including the most complex skin types, so that everyone can enjoy the benefits of medical beauty," said company president Alon Tzionit in an interview with local Indian media.

Currently, laser therapy is becoming increasingly popular, and cost was once a major factor limiting its popularity. With the growth of India's GDP, the laser therapy market is gradually expanding, and Alma India is taking this opportunity to quickly expand to second tier cities.

Alma's Soprano Titanium is known as the "gold standard" in the B2B, B2C, and C2B laser hair removal markets in India. Tzionit said, "Indian doctors are committed to providing patients with the best medical aesthetics, making them visually refreshed. They chose the Alma platform to achieve this goal. Thanks to the preferences of doctors and Alma's strong brand influence, we were able to enter second - and third tier cities in India."
Alma provides a diverse range of services worldwide, including injections, skincare, beauty, digital dentistry, and home devices. When it comes to the product roadmap for the Indian market, Tzionit revealed, "In the next two years, we will further expand our product portfolio in India, launching more platforms, injection products, skincare products, and innovative solutions."

Regarding the unique challenges in the Indian market and whether customized products for the Southeast Asian market will be launched, Tzionit stated that India remains a price sensitive market. However, Alma has actively expanded its customer base and is open to new opportunities, including the dental market. He emphasized, "The synergy of our unique product capabilities and cutting-edge technology has made Alma one of the top three medical beauty companies in the world."

According to Invest India, the national investment promotion and agency in India, the size of the medical device market in India has exceeded 11 billion US dollars and is expected to grow to 50 billion rupees by 2025, with a compound annual growth rate of 15% over the past three years. This growth momentum provides vast market space and development opportunities for medical technology enterprises such as Alma.
