RDC6555G controller crashes when importing new drawings

3AF36123

I tried to import a new drawing for the RDC6555G control system, but the system suddenly crashed during the import process. Every time a drawing file is selected and loaded, the controller interface freezes and cannot respond to any operations. The problem still persists after attempting to restart the device. Is the drawing too large? Any suggestions?

Perhaps the model file in the software directory is damaged. Try copying the file of the model copied from the software into it.

  • If a crash occurs when importing a new drawing, it is most likely due to an issue with the new drawing. Check the following items:
    1. Simplification: In the original design software, attempt to break down the drawings into multiple simpler files and import them in batches to check if a specific section causes the crash.
    2. Format conversion: Save the source file as common formats such as DXF or AI and then import it.
    3. Clean up drawings: Inspect and remove extremely small line segments, overlapping lines, unclosed shapes, etc., then export in RDC format before importing.
