CO2 laser cutting carving controller XY axis malfunction
When using the CO2 laser cutting and engraving control system, if you encounter this problem: the X-axis stops after hitting the limit switch during power on reset, while the Y-axis is still running slowly from the origin. The following methods can be used for processing:
Y-axis polarity is reversed, simply reset the polarity:
This issue may occur if the polarity in the control system settings is incorrect, causing the Y-axis to not stop properly during the homing process. Enter the control system's settings menu and check the direction settings for the Y-axis. Ensure that the polarity of the Y-axis matches the actual hardware connections. If the polarity is reversed, adjust it in the settings and save the changes. After restarting the system, the issue should typically be resolved.
The limit switch is faulty and needs repair:
If the X-axis stops correctly at the limit switch but the Y-axis continues to move slowly, the Y-axis limit switch might be malfunctioning. Check whether the Y-axis limit switch is damaged or not working. If the limit switch is faulty, the control system will not receive the position signal, causing the Y-axis to keep moving. In this case, the machine should be stopped for inspection and repair, which may involve replacing the limit switch or adjusting its position. After the repair is completed, reset the system to ensure proper homing of all axes.
