Elliptical circle on rotating device

On my rotary setup all my laser engravings work properly except for any circular shapes when done in the “line” setting.
“Fill” setting works just fine as you can see in the picture with the logo.
When i do shapes like an square (10x10cm) it also works just fine.
Any suggestions?

      How do those same circles work on a flat surface? I think you’re seeing some play in your machine. It might be intensified by the curvature, but I bet it will be present on a flat as well.

          : Thank you but no, when working in flat, all round shapes are just fine

        That object looks pretty heavy. I bet you are seeing inertia related distortion on line objects because the machine is moving both X and Y at the same time. Slow down by 50% when in line mode.
When using rotary, I do not use line. Fill mode scans straight lines, only moving one axis at a time.

            : slowing down unfortunatly doesn’t help at all… i wanted to do line mode for efficiancy reasons though
