Get buffer message after pressing the start button

Usually, the ESCape button on the controller is used to clear errors.
What do you want to send to the laser?
If old job files are stored on your controller, deleting them may help free up some space.

  : A “simple” cut of a a silver fern about the 70mm tall. I did a vertical and horizontal grid array. 2 vertical and 30 horizontal. When I pressed the start button the message appeared. I deleted about half the ferns and it cut them out. My PC is connected to the laser via USB. Where do I find the “clear memory” button?

  : If the array is now narrower along the X axis than it was before, then the 【Buffer Space】 message is a cryptic reference to what LightBurn calls 【Overscan】: the space on each side of the design where the laser head accelerates up to the layer speed and decelerates to a stop before reversing. Ruida controllers compute the amount of overscan required, so you don’t have any control over it. The solution is to keep the design “far enough” away from the edges of the platform. You can use the 【Preview window】to check the layout. Turn on【Show traversal moves】 and verify that all of the overscan lies within the green border lines. You may need to update the 【Device Settings】 to get more accurate results.
