Laser cutter printing everything mirrored/backwards

Currently using a LS6090 in a secondary school downloading files from RDworks as SVGs (DXFs just go all black on the laser cutter for some reason). Everything is cutting/engraving backwards/mirrored and we can't figure out why. A temporary solution has been to simply mirror designs within RDworks but something has gone wrong somewhere for this to be the case. On previews within RDworks designs appear the correct way round but when sent to the machine the appear mirrored on the machine's screen and this is what gets printed.

I've tried playing with 'screen origin' and other axes settings to no avail.

Many thanks in advance for any suggestions!

    • Hello, please set the machine origin and laser head origin position in the software parameter machine configuration to the same direction, and set the position on the panel to be consistent with the software at the same time.

        • : Hi, thanks so much for your response! After trying every combination of laser head position/homing position etc. i finally figured out the setting that lined everything up perfectly. Not sure why I hadn't figured it out sooner - I must have kept changing a single setting and forgetting about it between the PC and laser cutter. I've attached some photos of the settings that DID work, just in case anyone else has the same problem!

        • : Excellent work, thank you for sharing.
