Boolean Assist tools challenge

Looking for a quicker way to do this, I have tried all the tools (Boolean Assist ) and I don’t get the results I need. I have to duplicate the rectangle because it will not stay whole with these tools. Is there a “one click” tool that will do this?

      In all boolean operations one shape is consumed and one shape is altered. So no, there’s no one-click way of doing this.

However, it should be trivially fast to duplicate the shape before using it in the boolean. CTRL-D with the shape selected will duplicate the image. Then use one of the two shapes in your boolean.
