How do the two cylinders synchronize

Two cylinders hold up one frame on each side. If one of the cylinders is slow the shelf will be forced on one side. I've been thinking about it for a long time and it seems like it's impossible to synchronize the two cylinders, even if the pressure is the same, the piston will not be as tight as it should be over a long period of time, causing it to stick out.
