ALPD laser projection technology enters the Middle East market

With the continuous growth of user numbers and usage duration, the quality and reliability of the ALPD laser projection solution independently developed by the global laser display leader Guangfeng Technology (688007. SH) have been increasingly recognized by more and more users.

It is reported that VOX Cinemas, a well-known cinema line in the Middle East, has also joined the ALPD laser projection solution team, deploying ALPD laser projection light sources in most of its cinemas to provide better projection quality and service for movie fans in the Middle East.

According to data, VOX Cinemas is a cinema company headquartered in the United Arab Emirates and one of the leading cinema chains in the Middle East. Its cinema network covers multiple countries including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Qatar, with over 70 cinemas and more than 400 screens in the Middle East.

In order to provide audiences with a wide range of movie choices and a high-quality viewing experience, VOX Cinemas has always spared no effort in introducing advanced projection technology. After rigorous comparison and screening of light source products on the market, VOX Cinemas has decided to upgrade some projectors to ALPD laser projection solutions.

Since there is no need to replace the lamp, the risk of lamp explosion that exists when replacing traditional xenon lamps is completely avoided. The intelligent fully enclosed optical path design not only avoids the influence of dust and water vapor, but also reduces the risk of human operation, providing reliable guarantee for the safety and continuous stable operation of workers.

It is understood that ALPD laser projection technology can save an average of about 1.8 degrees of electricity per hour compared to traditional xenon lamp light sources. As of June 30, 2024, Guangfeng Technology has accumulated approximately 347 million hours of operation through its ALPD laser projection solution, saving approximately 625 million kilowatt hours of electricity and reducing over 537400 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

Based on the comprehensive performance of the ALPD laser light source, VOX Cinemas has decided to deploy it on a large scale, allowing more Middle Eastern film fans to experience the joy of laser viewing.
