Troubleshooting Method for Slow X-Axis Reset in CO2 Laser Cutting and Engraving Control System

When using CO2 laser cutting and engraving control systems such as the RDC6612U or RDC8445S, if the X-axis reset speed is slow, follow these steps to systematically check for potential causes and make adjustments:

 

1. Check the reset speed settings in the user parameters
In the control panel or software, check the reset speed setting in the user parameters. If the reset speed is set too low, it may cause the X-axis to reset slowly. Adjust the reset speed appropriately according to the machine's performance to ensure the X-axis returns to the origin more quickly.

 

2. Check the X-axis limit switch and the mainboard limit indicator
Check whether the X-axis limit switch is functioning correctly, and whether the limit indicator on the mainboard shows any abnormalities. If the limit switch malfunctions or the indicator shows an error, it may cause delays or stuttering during the X-axis reset process. Ensure the limit switches are in good condition and responsive.

 

3. Check the manufacturer parameters for the unused U-axis setting
Some control systems may have the unused U-axis enabled for reset in the manufacturer parameters, which could affect the reset speed of the entire system. Access the manufacturer's parameters and check if any unused axes are enabled for resetting. Disable unnecessary settings to prevent interference with the X-axis reset speed.
