Resize handles missing

I’m a fairly new lightburn user. This is the first time i’m actually drawing in lightburn (as opposed to just importing images) I wanted to draw some text over a shape, but I quickly found that there’s no resize handles on the text. I have the curved arrows for rotate, but not the square handles for resizing. See the attached screenshot. How do I fix this? Lightburn 1.4.04 on windows.
