Winning the SEMA Best Engineering New Product Award is not an easy task. Therefore, it said a lot about Huali's new non floating fuel transmitter bringing hardware home. The Easy Level fuel level sender is a brand new design that does not rely on traditional float arm settings, but uses a frikken laser beam to measure the fuel level in the tank.

More precisely, Easy Level uses LiDAR technology to measure the distance between the fuel surface and the sensor unit, and then converts this distance measurement value into a signal that can be read by the fuel level gauge. It can be used with any aftermarket instrument, "said Steve Sparkman of Holley. It is not suitable for OEM instruments, but all aftermarket instruments - Classic Instruments, Dakota Digital, etc. - can be easily connected.

This sensor is suitable for tanks with depths ranging from 4 inches to 39 inches and can be set up outside the vehicle. By using the buttons on the device, you can set the empty and full positions before installation, and then set the same position on the instrument panel after installation. You can even adjust the damping rate of the reading through the DIP switch on the device to manage instrument bounce caused by fuel shaking.

This device is very compact and easy to install. It looks like a hockey ball, "Sparkman said. It has a laser that can shoot down and tell you where the fuel is. It's so simple. Installation is a simple task, including installing hardware and gaskets, as well as installing flange templates. The small bolt circle diameter of 2-1/8 inches hardly occupies space on the fuel tank, and the 12 volt PWM output signal makes sensor wiring easy.
