The solution to the problem of no image in the camera of RDCmarkvision edge inspection software
When using RDCMarkVision edge patrol software, if there is no image from the camera, it may be caused by various reasons. Here are several common troubleshooting steps:
1. Check if the camera driver is working properly in Device Manager
Open the computer's Device Manager and check if the camera driver is properly installed and recognized. If the driver is missing or there is a yellow warning symbol, the driver might be malfunctioning. In this case, you need to reinstall or update the driver to ensure proper communication between the camera and the software.
2. Check if the camera connection cable is intact
Ensure that the connection cable (such as USB, Ethernet, etc.) between the camera and the computer is not loose, damaged, or disconnected. Try using a different cable or connect the camera to another port to eliminate any connection issues. A damaged or poor-quality cable can cause the camera to fail in transmitting image signals.
3. Check if the camera's power indicator light is on
Check if the power indicator light on the camera is illuminated. If the light is off, it suggests that the camera might not be powered on. Verify that the camera is receiving power, the power adapter is working properly, and the voltage meets the required specifications. If there is an issue with the power supply, you may need to replace the power source or socket.
4. Check if the camera lens protection cap is removed
Confirm that the protective cover on the camera lens has been removed. Many cameras come with a protective cap to prevent scratching or dust from entering the lens. If the cap is not removed, the camera will not be able to capture images properly, leading to no image output. Always check and remove the lens cap before use.
